CONVOCATORIA DE MAIL ART: ARTE Y TRASTORNO MENTAL

La Asociación Cultural y de investigación psicosocial PSICOTREX es una entidad sin ánimo de lucro que tiene entre sus objetivos la promoción de las artes como forma de integración de los diferentes colectivos con riesgo de exclusión social.

En esta ocasión, nuestro colectivo, compuesto esencialmente por psicólogos y artistas multidisciplinares, pretende incidir e investigar sobre la relación existente entre el arte y el trastorno mental. Pensamos que la creación artística es una herramienta muy valiosa para mejorar nuestra calidad de vida, establecer sistemas de comunicación alternativos y facilitar el equilibrio anímico. Es por ello que como asociación pretendemos investigar en estas materias y pedimos la colaboración de todos aquellos creadores que se sientan identificados con esta propuesta,  Así como de instituciones, entidades y centros que trabajen en este campo con el fin de lograr un fondo artístico y documental que pueda ser materia de trabajo y servir de base a futuras investigaciones.

TÉCNICA:
Cualquier técnica puede ser usada: collage, fotografía, dibujo, pintura (Digital enviar impresa), estampillas de artista, objetos, etc.
TAMAÑO: sin limites

EXPOSICIÓN:
Los trabajos enviados formarán parte de la exposición que se realizará en el mes de Mayo de 2010 en el Hotel de Entidades de Tarragona.

INFORMACIÓN PARA LOS PARTICIPANTES:
-      Esta convocatoria no es competitiva, no hay jurado, ni selección  previa.
-      No habrá devolución de las obras enviadas que permanecerán en los archivos de PSICOTREX A.E.I.D.P.

1. Las obras no serán objeto de ninguna transacción comercial, pero podrán ser reproducidas con finalidad divulgativa y utilizadas en trabajos de investigación.  Participar en esta convocatoria supone la plena aceptación de estas bases.

CALL FOR MAIL ART: ART AND MENTAL DISORDER
The Cultural Association and psychosocial  research PSICOTREX is a non-profit organization that has among its objectives the promotion of the art as a way of integrating the different groups at risk of social exclusion.

This time, our group, composed primarily of psychologists and multidisciplinary artists, is looking to investigate the relationship between art and mental disorders. We believe that artistic creation is a very valuable tool to improve our quality of life, alternative communication systems and facilitate the balance of mind. That is why we as an association aim to investigate these matters and ask the cooperation of all those creators who feel identified with this proposal, as well as institutions, organizations and institutions working in this field in order to achieve an artistic background and documentary that it can be to work and provide a basis for future research.

TECHNIQUE:
Free (if digital, send a printed copy) collage, Photo, painting, object…   SIZE: without limits.

EXHIBITION:
Entries submitted will be part of the exhibition to be held in May 2010 at the Hotel de Entidades de Tarragona.
The works sent (without return) will be published. Information for all participants will be given.

INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS:
- This  is a not competitive call, there is no jury and no previous selection. 
- There will be no refund of the submitted works. They will remain in the archives
   of PSICOTREX AEIDP.
- The works are not subject to commercial transactions, but can be reproduced
   with informative purposes and used in research works.  Participation in this call implies full acceptance of these rules.
